Organizing think-tanks and working groups for researchers to develop new ideas and collaborate
Facilitating outreach by physicians to increase medical care to our community members
Clinicians and scientists participated in Research Roundtables
Parents, caregivers and providers attended Public Day talks
Ground-breaking talks across five conferences
$2.5 million awarded in research grants
In less than five years of its existence The BRAIN Foundation has awarded over $2.5M in research grants (through our public donors, our private donor network and corporate partners) to study topics in urgent need of research in areas as diverse as gastrointestinal disorders, metabolic/mitochondrial dysfunction, microbial therapies for addressing core autism symptoms, neuromodulation therapies, understanding the immune dysfunction in autism and many others.
2023 Request for Proposals attracted close to 100 proposals from major universities including Yale University, Massachusetts General Hospital, UCSD, Scripps, UC Davis and many others.
Next year we will be funding research on topics ranging from animal models, translational research, longitudinal treatment studies, neurotech devices and so on.

Feedback
We are grateful for tha amazing feedback we’ve received!
On behalf of Aarav, Thank you Brain Foundation for spearheading Autism research and getting us all together!! Love, Kotra Family.
Dear Brain Foundation: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you do to give kiddos like Lukas another chance, and us parents hope. We are in awe of everything that you do every day, and hope you don’t stop any time soon. Love, The Arabadzic Family
The single most powerful memory I have of Synchrony 2019 was watching a mother in her 60s take notes while her 40 year old autistic son smelled her hair and carefully stayed by her side. If a conference of this caliber can give hope to a mom like her, then that in it of itself was a monumental and worthwhile pursuit. Love, S&R
On behalf of our redheaded princess Rory, thank you for all the hard work you do to give our precious children every opportunity to live typical lives. Love, the McKay Family
